What is Neuro-Movement Correction?
Neuro-Movement Correction is based on medical functional neurology. This method provides a special compass and treatment approach for mapping and eliminating the causes of pain!
The central nervous system controls all our movements, muscle tone, and every function of the human body. It analyzes stimuli from various receptors in the body and decides how the body should respond to these stimuli based on the incoming information. If, for some reason, incorrect or confusing information reaches the brain, the response will also be incorrect, resulting in faulty movement patterns and pain.
Neuro-Movement Correction examines these dysfunctions/disorders in the central nervous system using neurological and kinesiological tests. We stimulate the central nervous system with visual stimuli, among others, and use the resulting changes in muscle tone to identify the main cause of the pain.
We often find that pain is related to external stimuli affecting the body (e.g., ingested nutrients, scents, mental stress), which repeatedly trigger and maintain the complaint. Additionally, the cause of the pain may originate from a distant area, such as an old surgical scar or dental procedure.
This painless method helps us identify stressors harmful to the body and normalize the body’s balance with appropriate stimuli.
Conditions Treated with Neuro-Movement Correction:
- Classic musculoskeletal complaints: such as pinched nerves, frozen shoulder, lumbago, heel spurs, radiating pain like numbness, and burning sensations.
- Post-operative rehabilitation: for musculoskeletal disorders resulting from orthopedic surgeries.
- Pain and injuries: whiplash, seat belt injuries, sports injuries, various headaches, back and hip pain, nerve radiations.
- Postpartum issues: especially after cesarean sections, episiotomies, and perineal tears.
- Musculoskeletal diseases: including joint wear, inflammations, disc, and spine-related pain.
- Rheumatic diseases.
- Orthopedic diseases.
- Difficulty with movements: such as squatting, bending forward, climbing stairs, feeling restricted in daily activities.
- Chronic and acute back pain, neck pain, pinched nerves, spinal problems, various joint injuries, movement restrictions, and postural anomalies.
- Headaches, tinnitus.
- Circulatory problems.
- Digestive disorders.
