Budai-Bartók Rita

Gyógytornász, Manuálterapeuta

I graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Szeged with a degree in Physiotherapy. As I was also interested in research, I continued my studies and earned a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Semmelweis University. My passion for helping and healing others comes from my family, as everyone in my family works in a helping profession. Sport has also been part of my life since childhood, so choosing a career in healthcare felt like a natural decision.

At the beginning of my career, I particularly enjoyed working with people with central nervous system injuries. During this time, I realised how important not only the brain but also the spine is for trunk stability, which gradually shifted my interest towards spinal conditions. This led me to the Department of Neurosurgery on Amerikai Road, where I gained experience in the postoperative care of patients who had undergone spinal and neurosurgical procedures. These experiences helped me understand how essential a strong and stable foundation of movement is for recovery. Whether a condition involves the central or peripheral nervous system, I believe this foundation is always crucial.

I believe that trunk stability is essential for the mobility of the limbs. Therefore, I initially focus on treating the trunk and pelvis, while also addressing problems affecting the upper and lower limbs. This is what a comprehensive therapeutic approach means to me. During my years working in neurotraumatological rehabilitation and neurosurgery, I learned that good results take time. With patience and a genuine passion for helping others, I aim to support my patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

In addition to lower back and neck problems, I also enjoy treating shoulder conditions and problems affecting the lower limbs, including the hips, knees and ankles.

My patients’ motivation and belief in their recovery inspire me in our work together. I believe it is important to establish clear goals for therapy, and achieving these goals requires the patient’s determination, perseverance and active participation. I strive to support everyone who turns to me throughout this process.

I continuously develop my professional knowledge by attending further training courses. I carefully select courses that build upon one another so that I can provide my patients with the best possible care.
